Obituary for Leal Vey Pedro

Leal Vey Pedro, 78, of Nampa, Idaho passed away on February 6, 2019 of heart failure. Leal was born December 16, 1940 to William Vey and Florence May (Owen) Pedro in Gold Beach, Oregon. He was the oldest of three boys. He grew up in Gold Beach and graduated from Gold Beach High School and went on to get a bachelor’s degree in Christian Seminary. In 1992 Leal married Irene Dickson in Reno, Nevada. Irene moved to Oregon a short time before and had prayed for a husband who would be kind, gentle, moral and who loved God. That is when the Lord led Leal to Irene’s door. They had been friends for some time but had lost contact with each other. Leal and Irene loved to travel and between 1998 and 1999 they traveled the western states in an RV, and saw many State and Federal Parks together. They would also pack a picnic lunch and just go for a drive through the forests of Washington and Oregon. Leal worked serving God as a minister of the Lord Jesus as an ordained minister of the Gospel with the Bible Missionaries. Leal was kind, gentle, loving to all people. He was one in a trillion and the perfect husband.
Leal was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David Lee Pedro. He is survived by his wife Irene Pedro; daughters Naomi La Londe and Lynn Pattee; sons Bill Pedro and Kevan Pedro; brother Donald Lee Pedro; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held for Leal on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church located at 2700 S. Kimball Ave. in Caldwell, Idaho.
