Obituary

William Alfred Jackson, Jr. 93, of Nampa passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at home. He was born May 30, 1926 to William Alfred Sr. and Rose Beezly Jackson, in Yuma, Arizona. He entered in the military in August of 1945 and served in the Army during World War II. He met and married Lois Maxine Bennett in St. Francis, Kansas in 1946 and they had four children: Barbara Ann, Betty Lorraine, Allen Alfred and Karen Kay. Bill loved doing leatherwork. He was actually a Jack-of-all-trades when it came to working with his hands. William was preceded in death by his wife Lois; two children Betty Lorraine Jackson and Allen Alfred Jackson; and one grandchild Brian Wood; three sisters: Thelma Steele, Violet Stanley and Norma Beeghley. He is survived by two children Barbara Ann Jackson Webster and Karen Kay Jackson Nichols; grandchildren: Jody Gabbert, John Webster, Tim Jackson, Mindy Wood, Vickie Nichols Hughes, Tammy Nichols Switzer, Pearl Nichols Brinkley and Debbie Nichols; 19 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; sister Geri Wilkerson; five nephews and four Nieces. A graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 22, at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, 76 6th Street North in Nampa. Arrangements by Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 208-467-7300
