Wanda L Durbin, 80 of Caldwell, Idaho peacefully went home to be with our Heavenly Father on January 17, 2022, after a battle with lung disease and cancer. Wanda was born on July 30, 1941, in Ontario, Oregon to Reverend Tracy and Ruby Knapp. She was raised in Kuna and Nampa, Idaho. She attended the Western Mennonite School and Nampa High School. In 1960 she married Loren Turner and had two children. She later moved to Vancouver, Washington to be closer to her children and the rest of her family. In 1998 Wanda married Max Durbin. Wanda was one of eight siblings and loved spending time with her large extended family. She had a God-given talent for decorating and planning parties, including weddings, showers, birthday parties and any other get togethers. She and Max loved to entertain and would often open their home for potlucks and parties with her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and later all of their children. Some of her favorite pastimes were going to various tea houses with her sisters. She loved traveling and going on new adventures. Everyone who knew her, loved her. Her pride and joy in her later years were her four great-grandsons. Wanda is survived by her loving husband Max Durbin; brothers, Glenn (Rachel) Knapp and Leo (Noni) Knapp; sisters: Anne (Richard) Turner, Naomi Kennedy, Alberta Cantrell; daughter, Carrie (Howard) Albin; son Randy (Melissa) Turner; five grandchildren: Shaun Fletcher, Lauren Delacruz, Zachary Turner, Jordan Turner and Ashton Strom; four great-grandsons: Easton Delacruz, Kayson Delacruz, Wyatt Turner, Finn Turner. Wanda was presided in death by her parents; her first husband; one brother Dale; one sister June; two brothers-in-law Darrell Kennedy and Bob Cantrell A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 12, at Kessid Church, 111 W 28th St Vancouver, Washington.
