Vicki Ann
Stimpson
Dec 18, 1952 — Dec 27, 2025
Vicki Ann Stimpson, 73, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at her home in Wilson, Idaho. She was born December 18, 1952, to Walter and Martha Graham in Honolulu, Territory of Hawaii, where her father was stationed in the Navy. The family returned to Melba, Idaho when her father finished his service. This is where Vicki was raised and attended school. She found the love of her life, Norris, early on. They were married on September 7, 1969. Vicki and Norris had two children, raising them in Kuna, Idaho where they worked the land and custom farmed. Here, she discovered her knack for baling hay. She could do it better than anyone and loved it! In 1996, the family returned to the Melba area, settling in Wilson, Idaho. This is where they made their final home and continued farming and ranching. Fishing in Riggins and CJ Strike were among Vicki's favorite things to do. She was known to out fish the best of them. She also enjoyed snowmobiling and riding horses. She and Norris spent almost every weekend at Blacksands Resort, where she had many friends. She watched every Boise State football game often letting her love of her team get the best of her. She was known to yell at the screen when they needed a little encouragement. Vicki lived her life to the fullest, especially after her MS diagnosis. She pushed herself and embraced every opportunity. Her positivity was infectious. She simply loved life! This was most evident in her love of animals. She had many pets throughout her life, including Fred the parrot and Roxy the raccoon, whom she doted upon. Vicki is survived by her devoted husband, Norris Stimpson; mother Martha Graham Hasselbring; brother Craig (Linda) Graham; daughter Renee (Mitch) Shaul; son Danny Stimpson; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren, with three more on the way. A Celebration of Life will be held later this year on June 13, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at the American Legion Hall located at 406 4th Street in Melba, Idaho. The family would like to thank Zeyer Funeral Chapel for their support. They would also like to extend a special thanks to Nurse Ronnie and Shanae and Chaplain Scott of Idaho Home Health and Hospice.
