It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Tracie Ellen Marie Searles on February 25, 2025, at Meadow View Nursing and Rehabilitation, following a courageous battle with kidney failure and liver disease. Tracie was born on December 27, 1956, in Amarillo, Texas, to Dale Leon Pierce and Norma Lee Harris

Tracie grew up in Nampa, Idaho, where she attended Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Idaho, and developed a deep love for animals and horseback riding. She was a dedicated member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association and took great pride in raising show rabbits.

She was a hardworking and caring woman. Tracie worked in various fields; including ranch work, cattle breeding, and as a team leader at an aluminum window factory. She lovingly raised six children—two of her own and four from her second marriage.

A lifelong Jehovah's Witness, Tracie's unwavering faith and compassion were evident in everything she did.

In honor of Tracie's love for animals, the family asks that donations be made to any animal welfare society in lieu of flowers.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
