Timothy
Fisher
Aug 17, 1955 — Apr 14, 2026
TIM FISHER OBITUARY Timothy Lee Fisher – August 17, 1955 – April 14, 2026 Tim completed his earthly journey on April 14, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. Tim was born on August 17, 1955, in Chicago, IL, to Bernard Francis Fisher and Realla Jane Johnson Fisher. He was the 4th of 6 boys. Growing up in a military family afforded him a youth filled with travel to foreign countries and several US states. Tim attended a year of elementary school in Kuna, Idaho, where he made lifelong friends, reconnecting with them when he returned to live in Kuna when his dad retired from the Air Force. Tim graduated from Kuna High School in 1973. He married Diane Critchlow in July 1980, and they lived in Boise for many years before relocating to the family farm in Kuna, where they have lived since. Tim was a loving and dedicated father. Summers were filled with projects around the house, camping trips, bike rides, fishing, and teaching his kids how to be self-reliant. His example of hard work and duty was passed on to his children, as were his humor, wit, and curiosity. Tim is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diane, and children Vanessa Fisher and her husband Matt Dunn, Hillary Fisher, and Caleb Fisher and his wife Sylvie Fisher. Also survived by 5 wonderful and well-loved grandchildren: Awesome, Epic, and Stellar Hayward; and Henry and Margaret Fisher. Other survivors include brothers Bradford Fisher, Wm. Courtney (Paula) Fisher, Robbin (Sarah) Fisher, Scott (Sandy) Fisher, and Steve (Tammy) Fisher. He was preceded to the other life by his daughter Leslie Anne Fisher, his parents Bernie and Realla Fisher, and his in-laws George and Shirleyann Critchlow. Also preceded in death by sister-in-law Linda Fisher and sister-in-law Cynthia Taufa. Tim deeply loved his family and was a great provider, a protector of his family and friends, and a humble man. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
