Terri Lyn Storms lived her life by the motto "there is always always always something to be grateful for." Even in her moments of pain and sadness she was found with a smile on her face and finding joy in the simple things.

She was born on April 10, 1975, in Bountiful, Utah, to Ben and Norma Jepson. She grew up in a military family living in many locations alongside her brothers, Mark and Jeff. Later, she built a family of her own, marrying her sweetheart, Dustin Storms on August 31, 2002. Together they raised their two children, Masen James and Carlie Jean.

Terri was a planner by nature and used that skill to guide her into a life of teaching and nurturing others. She taught for many years as a certified teacher in different settings, but her favorite was the gifted and talented classroom. Even in the face of great hardships and challenges, she approached life with intention. True to who she was, she thoughtfully planned even her final arrangements, ensuring that everything would be just as she wanted and doing her best to ease the burden on those she loved.

Terri faithfully served in various capacities within her faith, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her deep love for others and willingness to serve made her a great example for all who observed.

On April 17, 2026, at the age of 51, Terri passed away at her home in Nampa, Idaho surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. She leaves behind a legacy not only in the lives of her loved ones but in the countless students she inspired-children who will carry forward her lessons of creativity, curiosity, and confidence.

A viewing (closed casket) will be held at 9:30 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 88 S Happy Valley Rd, Nampa, Idaho.
