Obituary

Tanya Lee Pallesen, born on September 11, 1977, in Nampa, Idaho, departed this world tragically on March 2, 2025, in Caldwell, Idaho. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Tanya's life, though cut short by an unforeseen accident, was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

The daughter of Steve Douglas Pallesen and Jeannette Ann Kelly (Michael). She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Douglas Pallesen, her grandmother, Mavis Pallesen, her uncle, Richard Dodge, and her aunt, Rhonda Guarneros, who welcomed her with open arms into the next life.

Tanya was a proud graduate of Nampa High School, where she was known for her infectious laughter and zest for life. She made her mark in the food industry, serving as an assistant manager, a role that showcased her commitment to hard work and her ability to connect with others.

As a mother, Tanya was devoted to her children—Jazlynn Hensley, Kyra Lundquist, Skyler Porter, Brandon Porter, and Kaleb Pallesen—who were the light of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them, nurturing them with love, wisdom, and a sense of humor that would leave them in stitches. The joy of being a grandmother to Evan Garcia, Kyden Garcia, Emry Garcia, Jameson Adair, and Sylo Porter brought Tanya immense happiness, and she embraced her role with an open heart, always ready with a hug or a joke to lighten the mood.

Tanya was a sister to Toshia Pallesen, Joshua Pallesen (Hannah), Trena Nelson (Andrew), Linda-Sue Moonen (Daniel), Sabre Boyce, Salena Wickersham, Ashley Pallesen, Cameron Pallesen, and Crystal Pallesen, as well as Jordan Pallesen. She was the oldest to all her siblings and created long lasting memories.

Known for her love of hot springs, music, and dancing, Tanya enjoyed life to the fullest. She had a particular fondness for rhinestones and perfume, which reflected her sparkling personality. Tanya had a unique ability to make people laugh, often goofing around and sharing jokes that would brighten even the darkest of days.

Tanya's funeral service will be held on March 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Cemetery in Nampa, Idaho. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate her life, share stories, and remember the joy she brought to all of us.
