Steven Vincent Carlson, 37 of meridian, Idaho passed away peacefully at his father's home on February 20, 2022, after a long illness. Steven was born on February 7, 1985, at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho to Roy Steven Carlson and Ember Anne Loveland Carlson. Steven is one of those special persons who came to this earth from heaven with a high and holy calling. Steven was born with mental illness and it amplified throughout his life. He was diagnosed with ADD early in his toddler years and died with advanced catatonic schizophrenia at the age of 37. He was a tortured soul. However, Steven was a kind and loving person. He never hurt anyone and searched endlessly for love. Steven came to this earth as an innocent soul whose purpose was to teach those around him how to love. He was always eager to give a hug. Steven never married and lived in the Boise valley all his life. Steven was preceded in death by his mother Ember Carlson who passed away on May 29, 2019. He is survived by his father Roy Carlson (Meridian, ID); a sister Kristina Carlson (Culver City, CA); and a stepbrother Clint Christensen (Willard, UT) along with Clint's family, Angie Christensen (wife), and their children: Jordan Christensen, Josh Christensen, and Jarinya Christensen. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm March 1, 2022, at the Meridian Cemetery, 895 E. Franklin Road in Meridian.
