Sharon Lorene Gordon

July 14, 1941 to October 26, 2025

Sharon Lorene Gordon, 84, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, with her two children by her side.  She was born in Nyssa, Oregon, to Arnold Slippy and Dorothy Kygar, and graduated from Jordan Valley High School. Sharon continued her education at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon, where she earned an associate degree. She furthered her education in 1989 at the University of Oregon, achieving a bachelor's degree in business management. Sharon advanced her career in real estate, obtaining her license in 1991.

Sharon eloped with Jerry Gordon on March 15, 1959, in Winnemucca, Nevada. She is survived by her children, Cindy Irene Kennedy and Jerry Lewis Gordon; her grandchildren Jeremy, Bennett, Jesse, Jamie, Forest, Merryjane, Jena, and Dakota West; her great-grandchildren; her sister Carol Duncan; her sister Mavis Kygar; and her brother Darrell Slippy.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Gordon; sister, Marlene Jenkins; and brother, Jay Kygar.

Sharon enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, spending time with her dogs, and participating in St. Paul Catholic Church in Nampa, Idaho.  She valued her family and friends and quietly showed her care in everyday moments.
