Sadie Maravilla, 82, of Nampa, was born February 24, 1933 to Margarita and Vincent Sanchez in Las Vegas, New Mexico. She passed away peacefully at home on May 4, 2015. She was preceded in death by her first husband Mariano Otero; Eli, Eddie, Willy and Joseph. Sadie is survived by her husband Pablo Maravilla; her children: Sally, John, Leo, Judy, Arthur, Leroy, MaryAnn, Victor, LeRoy Jr, Joe Sanchez and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even one great-great-grandchild. Sadie worked all her life to provide for her family. After retiring she enjoyed traveling, visiting casinos and playing bingo. Sadie was also, at one time, president of the local group "Hispanic Seniors of Idaho". Sadie touched the lives of many and will be missed very much. She was a wonderful cook and always took care of everyone. A Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa (467-7300).
