On January 17, 1971, Sam Watson entered the world as a tiny baby but before his life ended on March 7, 2015, he made a big impact on those around him. Sam was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, then moved to Boise where he graduated from Centennial High School in 1989. Following high school, Sam went to work for Tri-City Meats. He worked there for 25 years. At the time he was diagnosed with ALS he had reached the position of Director of Marketing. On March 19, 1994, Sam married Cynthia Watson and they enjoyed almost 21 years together. In their marriage they were blessed with three wonderful children: Justin, Jake and Jalyssa. Sam "bled blue and orange". He was an avid Bronco fan who seldom missed a game. When his health would not allow him to attend the games, he would always make sure he watched it on TV. Sam is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his three children; his parents, Bruce & Gail Watson and Allan & Rose Marsh; two sisters Chalane Camarillo & Ashley Marsh and one brother, Zack Watson. While working at Tri-City Meats he traveled to many food shows and made many life-long friends along with many loyal customers. He will be missed by all. A special thanks goes to Chalane, Ashley, Gail Watson, Carisa McGehee, Tara Stockwell, Jolene Johnston, Jodi Charrier, Morgan Charrier, and Sue Murphy with Legacy hospice who have carried a big part of the load. We will forever be grateful for your help during this difficult time. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, at Grace Bible Church, 1415 Lone Star Rd. Nampa. A viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel 83 N. Midland Blvd. Nampa. (No viewing will be held at the services) Friends are encouraged to greet the family during this time. A private family burial will be held at a later time.
