Ronald
Burnett
d. Jul 19, 2024
With heavy hearts we mourn the passing of Ronald Keith "T-Bone" Burnett taken from us July 19th, 2024. He was taken too soon and is missed dearly. Ron graduated from Nampa High School in 1984, then enlisted in the Army, serving 4 years active duty. He was most proud of his military service and loved to tell stories of his time serving abroad and, in the U.S.. He married his wife Lisa Burnett in 1994 and soon after went to work for Kings Pro Tire as a mechanic in Nampa where he remained for 30 yrs as a devoted employee. Together, they had a son Ronald Carl Burnett born in 1998, and he adopted Lisa's daughter Brittany. He was a proud family man. Ron deeply loved his family and friends, always smiling and always there to help you. He was a very caring man, with a wonderful soul. He enjoyed playing online trivia with his family and friends for the challenge and competition with one another. He also enjoyed golfing, race cars, target shooting and going to yard sales. Often, you'd see Ron wearing Hawaiian shirts, because he loved them, as his uncle George did. We encourage anyone to wear a Hawaiian shirt at his celebration of life in honor of Ron Burnett. Ron is preceded in death by his daughter Brittany Burnett, his parents Robert 'Bob' Carl Burnett & Debbie Joann Burnett, Grandparents Harry & Dorthy Shippy, Carl Burnett, Alta Hamill, Roy Lee Cogburn and Uncle's George Wieck & Roy Cogburn, Aunt's Betty Burnett and Aunt of the Heart Jackie Brown. He is survived by his wife Lisa, son Ronald, brother and his wife Robert K. & Michelle Burnett and their kids Robert 'Bob' Konner Burnett & Deborah Joann Burnett, sister Rhonda K. Burnett, Aunt Dortha Wieck, Uncle Jim Shippy and his wife Debbie, Uncle of the heart Steve Brown and many cousins. Ron will be buried with honors at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Aug. 12th at 1PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home on Wright Ln in Nampa after the funeral and we encourage all to come and to wear a Hawaiian shirt in honor of Ron. May Gods arms give you peace, comfort and wings to uplift your spirit Ron, and may the love you felt for all those you cared for be mirrored in all our faces forever. Rest in peace Ron, our love is with you always and forever.
