Obituary

Randy William Lusk, 64, of Middleton, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on May 24, 2025.

Randy was born on July 11, 1960, in Aurora, Colorado, to Lynn and Doris (Green) Lusk. He was the youngest of his siblings. His early years were spent in Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and St. Anthony, Idaho. He graduated from South Fremont High School in St. Anthony in 1978. From 1980 to 1982, Randy served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Kentucky Louisville Mission. After returning home, he continued his education at Ricks College, earning a degree in data processing in 1987.

Randy married Judy Kay Dillon on April 19, 1984, in the Salt Lake Utah Temple. They spent 41 years together, building a life and raising their four children: Ashley, Bethany, Shane, and Courtney.

In 1987, Randy and Judy settled in Prineville, Oregon, where Randy worked for Les Schwab Tires for 22 years. While in Prineville, Randy enjoyed raising his children in a small community and involved himself in their activities by coaching soccer teams and participating in the Boy Scouts. In 2010, Randy and Judy relocated to the Treasure Valley in Idaho, where he continued his career as a System Administrator at WinCo Foods. In 2022 Randy and Judy built a home in Middleton, ID, and have enjoyed a quiet life with many friends.

Randy was a man of faith, family, and service. He was known for his steady demeanor, his love for his children and grandchildren, and his willingness to serve and help others. He was happiest surrounded by his family and lived his life with humility. He enjoyed simple things like electronics, fantasy novels, and tinkering in his garage.

Randy is survived by his wife, Judy; his children: Ashley Olson (John), Bethany Morgan (Drew), Shane Lusk (Amber), and Courtney Peet (Anker); and his cherished grandchildren: Alyssa, Sierra, Blakely, Quinn, Samantha, Aubrey, Jacob, Tanner, Paisyn, Dillon, William, Benjamin, Sadie, and Stevie. His siblings are Cindy Oram, Lewis Hamberlin, Lynda Curtis, and Nancy Hamberlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn and Doris Lusk; and sisters Neva Davis and Teri Thomas.
