Randall Earl Fizer passed away on Wednesday, January 21st at home with family. Randy was born to Guy Robert and Dorothy May Fizer on February 13, 1949 in Fairmont, West Virginia—a twin and one of four sons (Bob, Rod, and Dave). He graduated from West Virginia University in 1972 as an engineer and spent his professional career in the coal mining industry; managing the purchasing, maintenance and calibration of mining equipment. He also earned his MBA from the same university. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Ann Fizer, two sons--Chris and Brian, and six grandchildren—David, Halle, Hudson, Daxton, Garrett and Gavin. His love of reading, fishing, repairing automobiles and relaxing at the beach has been passed on through the generations.
