Pamela E. La Mora, 79, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, in Nampa, Idaho. Pamela—known to many as Pam—spent most of her life in San Diego, California, where she was born and raised. After attending cosmetology school, she later worked as a bank teller, a job that fit her friendly nature and love of being around people. Pam had a warm presence and an easy way of making others feel welcome. Pam and her beloved husband, Dave La Mora, shared 38 years of marriage before his passing on April 5, 2005. Together, they enjoyed traveling and were camp hosts in various locations, creating lasting memories and friendships wherever they went. In 2024, Pam moved to Nampa, Idaho, to be closer to her daughter. Family meant everything to her—she loved deeply and showed it often. She also had a special soft spot for animals, and her affection for them was just another reflection of her gentle heart. Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Dave La Mora, and her brothers, Gary and Kenny. She is survived by her daughter, Kim; her son-in-law, Ray; her son, David; her daughter-in-law, Claudia; her sister, Lu Jean; her brother-in-law, Jerry; and her five grandchildren: Brandon, Alex, Brian, Marissa, and Sean, along with many extended family members and friends.
