Rick LeRoy Beymer
September 8, 1962 – November 3, 2019

Rick LeRoy Beymer was born to Dick and Janet Beymer in Santa Ana, California on September 8, 1962. They lived there until Rick was three years old and then moved to Delhi, California. Rick started kindergarten at Schendel Elementary School where he attended until 5th grade. He continued his education at El Capitan Junior High School where he found a love for baseball, football and track. He spent many hours at the Delhi Park playing baseball with his dad as his coach. His mother played an active role as a den mother for his scout troop. Rick soon found out that baseball was the sport he loved and played it with great passion. He attended Livingston High School in Livingston, California where he played baseball and basketball. The family then moved to Crescent City, California where Rick continued playing baseball and basketball.
As a family, they enjoyed Crescent City very much. They enjoyed the beach and Rick enjoyed fishing with his dad. Rick and his brother David enjoyed riding their dirt bikes for many hours. Rick did a lot of hiking with his sister Connie and they share many secrets from those hikes. Rick also enjoyed helping to recover and bring to shore a boat from the bottom of the ocean that his dad had purchased. Rick was educated to repair boats, snowmobiles and motorcycles. He was a great auto mechanic.
Rick joined the army. He met Terry during this time and we were blessed with Kyle. He was stationed in Fort Lewis. Later he married Vickie Garrett in Crescent City and they had Heather. After this time he moved to Nampa, Idaho where he lived with Uncle Ole and Aunt Cheryl until his parents joined him. While living in Nampa he worked in the silver mines, the boat shop, the auction yard, the school, a snowmobile shop and he worked for Uncle Jim. His last job was working with Frosty at Lawn Keepers.
He loved doing Intarsia with Uncle Ole and got very good at it. He loved the outdoors, target shooting and teaching people to shoot, but most of all he loved his kids, grandkids and family.
Rick is survived by his mother Janet Beymer; his brother David Beymer and wife Karen; his sister Connie Davis and husband Frosty; his son Kyle Fears and his three boys: Kaiden, Kolten and Klayten; his daughter Heather Canning and her husband Josh and their three boys: Christian, Kayce and Jesse; six nieces and nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews; five aunts and uncles as well as many cousins and friends.
