Noe Gomez Rivera 48, of Melba, Idaho, passed away on May 27, 2017. Noe was born on December 23, 1968, in La Victoria, Pinos, Zacatecas to Marcos Gomez and Martha Rivera. Noe will be remembered in many different ways by many different people. Some of us remember him as being an amazing dad and a loving grandpa. Some of us remember him wearing his Stacie Adams with his greased up clothes. Some of us remember all the squats and deadlifts that won all the medals and trophies. Some remember the big "Michael Jordan fan" who would go play basketball at the park with all the family. Some remember him as being the biggest 49er & BSU fan (win or lose). Some remember him by the laughter and the way he would light up being around family and friends. Some remember BBQ's and modelos; listening to Cumbias and Banda. Some remember what a strong and handsome man he was showing no fear to anything. Noe truly made his mark on many different people. No matter who we are, we will all miss and think of him often Forever in our hearts! Thank you for these memories Gomez, Daddy, Grandpa, Brother, Mijo, Friend, Abogado and my first love. Noe is survived by his mother, Martha Rivera, his three brothers: Angel Gomez Rivera, Martin Gomez Rivera and Manuel Salas Rivera; his sister, Laura Gomez Rivera; his fiance Miroslava Zavala; his daughters: Melissa Lopez, Erika Gomez and Adriana Gomez; his son Noe Jr. Gomez and his step-son Ruben Zavala as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and of course his grandchildren. A rosary will be recited tonight, June 5, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N. Midland Blvd. Nampa. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (today) June 6, 2017 at 9a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 510 W. Roosevelt, Nampa. Interment will follow in the Melba Cemetery.
