Nicolette Elise Peed, 63, went to be with Jesus, January 29, 2015, in Nampa, Idaho, after her battle with cancer. Nickie was born to Wendell and Wilma Bartlow, October 14, 1951, in Pomeroy, WA and raised on her parents' wheat farm 24 miles outside of town. Farming life was busy, lively, full of fun and laughter with her four siblings: two brothers and two sisters. Nickie graduated from Pomeroy High School and later married Mark Peed. To this union was born their son, Chris. They made their home in California and later moved to Idaho where she resided until her death. Over the years Nickie worked in the Treasure Valley for retail stores, the Meridian School District, and most recently Heritage Retirement Center in Boise. She attended Bethel Church of the Nazarene where she enjoyed singing in the church choir and Christmas cantata. Nickie is survived by her son, Chris Peed and his wife Dawn, two grandchildren, Lysa (9) and Caden (4) of Vail, Arizona; her father, Wendell Bartlow (Nampa), sisters Vonnie McDaniel (Nampa), Jeanine (Alan) Fitzgerald (Boise), brothers Brant (Patty) Bartlow (Nampa), and Kirk (Sharon) Bartlow (Nampa), and many nieces and nephews. Nickie was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Bartlow. Nickie's faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ blossomed in the final difficult months of her cancer battle. She remained optimistic and cheerful and experienced peace from the Lord until He called her home.
