Obituary for Mileen Jackie Ramos

It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mileen Jackie Ramos, who left this world peacefully on November 23, 2025, surrounded by family. She was a woman whose spirit was as vibrant as the places she explored, the meals she created, and the songs she carried in her heart.

Born on May 11, 1970, in Ogden, UT, with an adventurous soul, Mileen was raised in Idaho Falls, ID—she found joy in discovering new places—near or far—and her travels became some of her most cherished memories. Whether she was taking in the beauty of a new city or simply enjoying a scenic drive, she embraced every moment with curiosity and gratitude.

At home, she shared her love through cooking. Her kitchen was always filled with the aroma of her favorite dishes, each one made with the warmth and intention that only she could offer. Her meals brought people together, creating laughter-filled gatherings and comfort on even the hardest days.

Music was her heartbeat. She loved to sing—whether it was humming while she cooked or belting out her favorite songs with family—and she never missed a chance to dance. Her joy was contagious; if she was up dancing, you couldn't help but join her. She brought lightness and life into every room she entered.

Above all else, she loved her family deeply and unconditionally.  Her strength, kindness, and warmth shaped the lives of all who knew her. Her presence was a gift, and her memory will continue to inspire us every day.

She is survived by her husband, Manuel Ramos, and children: Victoria (Abel) Medrano, Mike (Alice) Klein, Felicia Lopez, Ana Karina (Damacio) Bojorquez, Miguel Rodrigez, Leonel (Dominique) Lopez, Vianet (Alejandro) Leon, Yareli Gonzales, and Kesia (Jesús) Rangel; 25 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren who will forever carry her love and legacy in their hearts.

We will honor her beautiful life with a service on November 28, 2025, where we will gather to share stories, celebrate her spirit, and dance a little—just as she would want.

Mileen is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and daughter Vyanney Crystal Lopez (3 years old). Her journey continues in the hearts of those she touched. She will be missed more than words can ever express.
