Mildred O. Edie, a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother passed into the hands of the Lord, to join her son Donnie and husband Don, on Friday, March 18, 2016. Mildred was born March 1, 1929 in Pawnee City, Nebraska where she grew up with and married the love of her life, Don. Together they made their home in Hayward, California where they raised three children: Donnie, Diane and Debbie before moving to Fruitland, Idaho in 1969 and later to Nampa, Idaho in 1999. Mildred was a strong willed woman who would do anything for anyone without question. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and enjoyed bowling, fishing and camping, but her passion was her family. Mildred took pride in her six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, which were her greatest joy. She loved the tradition of making Christmas goodies with her grandchildren. Mildred will be forever cherished and live on in the many wonderful memories she created. Traditions will continue to keep her memory within us all. Gone but never forgotten until we meet again. We love you! Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa (467-7300) with a viewing to be held at the chapel from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the services.
