Obituary

Mary Patricia "Pat" Adams, 76, of Boise, ID, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, March 7, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and service. She was born on 13 September 1948, to the late William Ray and Coradell Warner.

Pat was an amazing woman who fiercely loved her family and greatly enjoyed sewing, serving others, and bringing joy to everyone with her famous baked goods. When she worked at the VA Medical Center in Spokane, WA, her cinnamon roll contribution to bake sales always sold out, usually before they ever reached the table. Her dinner rolls were a must-have for every holiday meal and Sunday dinner, when she could be talked into it. She discovered freeze-dried foods later in life and had a wonderful time experimenting with different foods and candies. She sewed beautiful clothes for her children when they were small but discovered that dolls had much fewer obnoxious opinions, so she shifted to smaller clothes and sewing baby blankets, quilts, and fabulous doll tents that she gave away to several little girls just to make them smile, and at least one of them decided that those tents were too nice for dolls, and she tried to move in herself! Christmas was her favorite time of the year, and she had the ornaments, nativities, and decorations to prove it. She was always happiest when surrounded by her family and friends and was a devoted servant of the Lord, serving in multiple callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life and at all the various places that she lived around the world. Her favorite saying when things got challenging was, "The scriptures say, 'And it came to pass.' It never says, "It came to stay." But her light and love will definitely stay with everyone who knew her.

Pat is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mikeal Adams; one son, Mikeal Adams (Leticia) of Los Angeles; two daughters, Gianna Warner (Ben) and Deena Hess of Boise; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Ricy Warner (Loretta) of Clayton, WA; and one sister, Raydeen Connell (Tom) of White Springs, FL. She also leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who will greatly miss her (and her chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls.)

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Warner (Isolde) and Wesley Warner (Lana), and one sister, Jeanneen Carlson-Gharst.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, March 20, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8620 W Goddard Rd, Boise, ID 83704, with services provided by Zeyer Funeral Chapel.
