Marsha Kay
Seable
d. Jul 13, 2026
Caldwell
Marsha Kay Seable, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, departed this earthly life on July 13, 2026, at the age of 81. Marsha was born December 6, 1944, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Lloyd and Zola Palmer. She was the youngest of 3 children.
Marsha began her life in Twin Falls but soon moved to Portland, Oregon, where she graduated from Franklin High School in 1963. She continued her learning at Brigham Young University, where she graduated with honors in 1967. It was in September of that same year that Marsha married her best friend, John A. Seable, in the Logan Utah Temple. Together, they shared a love and bond that would carry them through more than 55 years of marriage.
For over 25 years, Marsha dedicated her professional life to the Caldwell School District, where she touched countless lives through her various roles. Her journey was marked by her devotion to family, her commitment to education, and countless hours of service, both to her church and her community. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Marsha held many callings to serve, especially with the Relief Society and Primary children. She especially enjoyed working with other sisters to serve families who had lost a loved one.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John A. Seable, and her daughter, Kimberly Myers. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly's husband, Roger Myers (Sharon); son John P. Seable (Jenny); daughter Crystal Nykreim (Kjell); and son Aaron Seable (Marcia), along with their families, including 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her older siblings, Dave Palmer and Linda Willoughby. Special loved ones include the families of Mike and Malinda Karpowitz and Chad and Michelle Everton.
A service to celebrate Marsha's life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the church building located at 4509 S. Montana Avenue, Caldwell, Idaho 83607. A viewing will be held beginning at 10:00 am, immediately prior to the service.
Marsha’s family and close friends will be forever grateful for the quiet, unassuming, faithful way that she lived her life, for the time we shared with her, and for the beautiful knowledge that we will see her and John again.
