In Loving Memory of Mark Pennington

Mark Pennington was born on April 23, 1975, in Sacramento, California. He spent his childhood growing up in the Bay Area, where he enjoyed riding bikes, performing tricks, exploring neighborhoods with friends, and making memories that would stay with him throughout his life. During his high school years, he played football and developed the determination and leadership qualities that would define him as an adult.

Mark later lived in Las Vegas before eventually settling in Nampa, Idaho, where he made his home and built a life surrounded by family and friends.

For more than 6 years, Mark worked in the landscaping industry. While he took great pride in his work, his greatest professional accomplishment was the impact he had on others. He was a natural mentor, a respected leader, and someone who took the time to teach, encourage, and guide those around him. His dedication to helping others succeed left a lasting impression on many lives.

Of all his accomplishments, Mark was most proud of being a father to his son, Tyler Pennington. Tyler was not only his son but also one of his best friends. Mark was proud of the man Tyler became, and the bond they shared was one of the greatest joys of his life.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Monica Elliott; his son, Tyler Pennington; his stepchildren, Michael and his wife, Alyssa, and Frank Dye; and his cherished grandson, Theodore. He also leaves behind many family members, friends, coworkers, and loved ones who will miss his guidance, humor, friendship, and unwavering support.

One of Mark's favorite things to do was camp with family and friends at Pillsbury, California. Those trips brought him great joy and created many treasured memories that will be remembered by those who shared them with him.

Mark will be remembered for his strong work ethic, leadership, generous spirit, and deep love for his family. His legacy lives on in the people he mentored, the family he cherished, and the countless lives he touched throughout his journey.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
