NAMPA — Margaret Ellen Paulson-Booth-Averil died on August 12, 2026, in Nampa, Idaho, at the age of 103.

Born on November 19, 1922, Margaret lived a long life marked by devotion to her family, steady service to others, and a strong love of God. She was a graduate of Chinook High School, Class of 1941, and carried forward throughout her life the caring spirit for which she was known.

Margaret found meaning in both everyday acts of kindness and in service beyond her home. She enjoyed baking and sewing, pursuits that reflected the care she brought to those around her. She also gave of herself as a hospice care volunteer, offering comfort and support in a role that spoke to her beautiful and caring spirit. She always put others first and loved her family and children more than anything.

She is remembered by Randall, 73, Brian, 70, and Kirk, 66. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy David Booth; her brother, Leroy O. Paulson; her brother, Philmore Harold Paulson; her sister, Lila Mae Christine Paulson; her sister, Ada Jane Paulson; and her sister, Faye Elizabeth Paulson.

A celebration of life will be held on November 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 8 S Midland Blvd, Nampa, Idaho 83651. The service will also be available at www.youtube.com/@trinitylutherannampa5766 through Trinity Lutheran in Nampa, Idaho.

Margaret Ellen Paulson-Booth-Averil will be remembered for her deep faith, her caring nature, and the lasting love she gave to her family and to others throughout her life.
