Louis Anthony Sill Sr. born December 13, 1937, went home to be with his Lord on September 15, 2022.

He was the Son of John and Theresa Sill, of Cleveland, Ohio. At the age of 18 Louis enlisted into the United States Army. While stationed in Maryland he met the love of his life Lorraine J. Melton. They were married in May 1958 and blessed with their first child in 1959. They moved to Cleveland, Ohio where they were blessed with five more children from 1960 to 1969. In 1971, they decided to travel west. Their journey ended in Caldwell, Idaho where they were blessed with one more child. They finally settled in Nampa, Idaho in 1973.

Louis worked at Mercy Medical Center Hospital and Castle, Inc. He retired from Boise Cascade headquarters in Boise, ID after 20 years of employment at the age of 55. He enjoyed retirement, visiting family, taking lengthy vacations, and having many adventures. Louis was a loving husband and father of 7, grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather of 17. Louis was an active member of St Paul's Catholic Church Joining the Knights of Columbus and earning his 4th degree.

Louis is survived by his children: Randal Sill of Nampa, Gary and wife Nancy Sill of Spokane, Donna and husband Leland Mandara of Nampa, Louis and wife Renee Sill of Nampa, Kimberly and husband Anthony Lunghi of Nampa, Pamela and husband Michael Porter of Nampa; a brother Thomas Sill, and sister Jeanmarie Dumpnok; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Theresa Sill; a sister Louise Savagio, and brother John Sill; son Michael J Sill; and his wife Lorraine Melton Sill.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 28, at St. Paul's Catholic Church located at 510 West Roosevelt Ave in Nampa. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 27 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa.
