Lawrence "Larry" Nelson Larry S. Nelson, 84, of Nampa, died on Tues Feb 22, 2022. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 2 at the Zeyer Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Larry lived a life filled with love, adventures, and many accomplishments. He was truly "one of the good ones" and the best husband, dad, and grandparent. Larry was born on July 17, 1937 in Boise Idaho and grew up in the Treasure Valley before settling in Nampa in 1967. He married the love of his life, Joyce, in 1963. Their three sons completed their family until the grandkids arrived. Larry was a great family man, friend, and philanthropist. He had an impact on every life he touched. He loved his family, his friends, his business, his dogs, boating and playing cards. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Stan and Armenta Nelson, and his sons Joseph and David Nelson. Larry is survived and dearly loved by his wife, Joyce; son, Michael; daughters-in-law, Mandy, Tammie and Karen; his grandchildren, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Noah, Cooper, Kendra and Drew; and his second family the Nelson-Deppe crew.
