Obituary for Kenneth Richard "Dick" Hall, Jr.
Kenneth Richard "Dick" Hall, Jr., passed away on April 6, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital in Nampa, Idaho, from natural causes. He was born on December 23, 1941, in Wharton, West Virginia, to Kenneth Richard Hall, Sr. and Nancy Louise McCoy.
Dick grew up in Miamisburg, Ohio, and graduated from Fairview High School in Fairview Park, Ohio. He later attended The Ohio State University.
Dick honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970 aboard the USS Lexington. During a severe storm at sea, he courageously climbed a mast to repair radar equipment—an act that earned him a commendation. His service reflected both bravery and dedication.
Following his time in the Navy, Dick spent much of his adult life in Florida, working as a master electrician. He was known for his strong work ethic and dependability in his trade.
Dick was of the Baptist faith. In his personal time, he enjoyed painting and reading and was recognized as an accomplished artist. Those who knew him appreciated his thoughtful nature and the care he showed toward others, especially his parents, whom he faithfully looked after for several years.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by extended family and friends who will remember his quiet strength, creativity, and service to others.
