Katelin Carter Gibson-Mills, 32, passed away peacefully at her home in Nampa, Idaho, on January 31, 2026.

Born on March 25, 1993, in Lancaster, California, Katie lived a life defined by devotion, quiet strength, and deep love for her family. Above all else, she was a full-time mother whose world revolved around her children, Roman and Freya. Her dedication to them was unwavering; every day, every choice, every sacrifice was made with their happiness and safety at heart. Being their mom was her greatest joy and proudest role.

Katelin had a lifelong love of horses, spending much of her younger years training and riding. That time reflected who she was at her core—patient, determined, and deeply connected to the things she loved. Those who knew her remember her warmth, her loyalty, and the way she showed up fully for the people closest to her.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Mills; her mother, Janet Gibson; her beloved children, Roman and Freya; and her best friend, Halle, who held a special place in her life. Katelin's love and presence will continue to be felt in the lives she touched and the family she cherished so fiercely.
