Julie May Thompson Bruderer, 84
Julie passed peacefully in her sleep on October 21st, 2025. She was dedicated to her family, friends, and church. She was a wonderful homemaker and had a creative soul.
Julie May Bruderer was born September 9th, 1941, in Traverse City, Michigan, and raised in Montana prior to moving to Nampa, Idaho, to attend Nampa Christian High, where she married Lloyd Thompson and raised four boys prior to her marriage to Dennis Bruderer. Julie was the third of four children, born to Albert and Doris (Parker) Grewe. Siblings: Thomas Grewe (Karen), Rosanne Chelgren (Walt), and Berta Evans (Ted). She leaves behind her three living sons: Tim Thompson (Tammi), Randy Thompson, and Rodney Thompson. Her oldest son, Erine Thompson (Charmaine), passed earlier this year after a sudden and brief illness in January; stepchildren: Dallas (Marcy), Dail (Pam), Trina (Mike), Michelle, and DeLyle (Shannon).
She is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Dennis Bruderer; her parents; and her sibling, Rosanne Chelgren.
A funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 519 South 12th Avenue, Caldwell, ID 83605, at 2pm on Saturday, November 1st, with a viewing from 1:00 to 1:45pm. There will also be a viewing Thursday, Oct. 30th, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel in Nampa, Idaho. Graveside services will be on Nov. 3rd in Logan, Utah
