Jose Deleon
Jr.
Jul 22, 1967 — Mar 12, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jose DeLeon Jr, who left us on March 12, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on July 22, 1967, Jose was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose life was a testament to love, faith, and community service. Jose's greatest love and joy was his service to Jehovah God, our creator. As an elder in the local Jehovah's Witness congregation, he worked tirelessly to spread hope about the future. He did not fear death; he only saw it as a momentary pause. He, along with millions of others that have fallen asleep in death, are awaiting the fulfillment of the resurrection hope. (Jn 5:28-29 Rev 21:3-4)
His love for his wife Lorena and daughter Jessica and all his friends and community showed in his great big smile and hearty laugh that most have experienced. He was never too busy to listen and never too busy to help where help was needed. Jose never turned away from a challenge, and that was a quality that we shall never forget. He lived by the words expressed in his favorite scripture, Psalms 112:4–8, and helped others do the same.
Jose's love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorena DeLeon; his daughter, Jessica(Alexandrea) DeLeon; his mother, Ernestina DeLeon; brothers, Robert(Paula) DeLeon, and Juan(Beti) DeLeon; and his sister, Cristina(Sergio) Jimenez-DeLeon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, Match 14, 2025, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa, ID. A memorial service will be held AT 3:00 pm, Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1702 Marble Front Rd, Caldwell, Idaho. Family and friends are welcome to join us in celebrating Jose's life and the many cherished memories we hold dear.
