Jeffrey David Morfod, 49, of Meridian, passed away at his home December 18, 2019. Jeffrey was born June 16, 1970 in Caldwell Idaho. He attended schools in Riggins and Homedale, Idaho, he was a good student and enjoyed his friends and the athletic programs. In 1989 Jeffrey graduated from Homedale High School and joined the Army. He served in the Army and National Guard as a Military Police Officer until his Honorable release in 1997. After his Military service Jeff continued to serve as a Police officer this time with the Fruitland Police Department, and later as an investigator for the Oregon Department of Corrections. After serving in Law Enforcement Jeff owned and operated Postal Express in Meridian, and also worked as an Environmental Services Director at Edgewood Management Group also in Meridian. Donations may be made in his honor to the Veterans Administration. A memorial Service will be held for Jeff on Wednesday January 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N. Midland Blvd Nampa, Idaho. Jeff Will be laid to rest at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise Idaho on Wednesday January 22, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.
