Jean Marie Holloway went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2020. She was born on July 17, 1937 to Harlow and June (Elmore) Ambler in Springfield, Illinois. Her family moved to California in 1941. She graduated from Chaffee High School in Ontario, California in 1955. She married Robert Harold Holloway on May 18, 1956 and raised 5 children. Jean and Bob raised their family in Montclair, California until 1980 when they moved to Yucca Valley, California. She would sometimes work part time, but for the most part was a homemaker where she raised each one of her children in love. In 1995, they moved to Montana to be closer to their grandchildren, and then in 2000, moved to Nampa, Idaho. Jean was a great mother and great friend. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the deepest loves of her life, and she thoroughly enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. She also loved spending time with her sister, Patty. Other than her family, she had great friends that she knew through church that she also loved spending time with. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and making different items for her family. She was a marvelous woman who taught her children to know right from wrong and to always look at the good in all things. Jean was preceded in death by her father (Harlow) and mother (June); her husband Robert; two sisters Peggy and Shirley; and brother Jerry. She is survived by her children: Debi Roski, Robin Landers, Cathy (Dennis) Thomas, Bob (Lisa) Holloway, Bill (Sarah) Holloway, as well as a sister Patty (Bert) Miller. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Her life left a legacy for many and she will be truly missed by all! Services will be held off until the spring when family and close friends can gather to celebrate her life!
