In Loving Memory of Jared Jay Stradling, September 25, 1972 – August 28, 2026

Jared Jay Stradling, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, peacefully passed away on August 28, 2026, in Nampa, ID with his wife by his side.

Jared was born on September 25, 1972, in Fairfax, Virginia. Throughout his life, he touched the lives of countless people through his example in how he righteously led his family and shared his faith and love with them and others. His family was his greatest treasure. He found great joy in the time he spent with them, and the memories they created together will be cherished forever.

Jared was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a 2-year mission for the church in Sydney, Australia. His testimony of Jesus Christ and his faith in Heavenly Father were important parts of his life. He found strength and peace in the restored gospel and in the knowledge that families can be together forever. In his final months of life, he continued to live the gospel and through his example strengthened both his testimony and the testimonies of others.

Jared faced the challenges of his final months with courage and faith. Even during difficult times, he continued to rely on his faith and took every opportunity to teach his children. His example of perseverance, love, and faith will remain an inspiration to his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife (Candi) and their four children (Jordan, Jessica, Logan, and Autumn), who will miss his presence and the many special moments they shared with him. He is also survived by his six siblings (Walter Stradling (Carroll), Deana Richins, Lani Stradling (Jodi), Loa Benson (Chad), Doug Stradling (Gwen), Tristan Stradling (Cheryl), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father (Elwin Dean Stradling) and mother (Marvel Harms).

Jared’s family finds comfort in the knowledge that death is not the end and that, through the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, we can have the hope of being reunited with our loved ones. His family looks forward with faith to the day when they will be together again.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who loved, served, prayed for, and supported Jared and his family throughout his life and especially during his final months/days.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., at 11288 W Roosevelt Ave, Nampa, Idaho 83686. A graveside service will follow at Melba Cemetery.
