Jackie
Crager
Mar 22, 1944 — Jan 2, 2026
Jackie Marie Crager, 81, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on January 2, 2026. She was born on March 22, 1944, in Tulia, Texas, to her parents, Goldie Ariola-Kittinger and Charlie Ariola.
Jackie lived a life marked by unwavering faith, deep love for people, and strength of character. While she was incredibly loving and compassionate, she was also strong-willed and stood firm in her convictions. As a natural peacemaker, she served as a steady connection line within her family, bringing unity through truth and wisdom. Jackie was genuine to her core; you always knew where you stood with her, and her faithfulness could be trusted without question. She lived out her relationship with Jesus authentically, walking in truth and honesty while extending genuine love to others.
She was a devoted wife, a best friend to her siblings, a loving and faithful mother, and a cherished grandmother who was actively involved in the lives of her grandchildren. Jackie was a prayer warrior for her family, standing in faith on their behalf with perseverance and confidence. Steadfast and resilient, she faced life with courage, yet carried a joyful spirit and a love of laughter that brought warmth and comfort to those around her.
Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Gerald Crager, who passed away 14 years earlier, on the same date as Jackie. She was also preceded in death by both her parents, her brother, Charles Ariola, and her sister, Shirley Coffey.
She is lovingly survived by her sister, Mavis Richardson; her sons, Darran Crager (wife Shelly) and Brian Crager (wife Tanya); her grandchildren, Ashley O'Neill, Austin Crager, and Josh Crager; and her great-grandchildren, Addi Thompson, Oliver Crager, and Erin Crager.
Jackie leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness, prayer, laughter, and love that will continue to shape generations. Her life reflected Christ in both word and action, and her family finds peace in knowing she is fully restored and rejoicing in the presence of our Savior.
