Isabella
Barba
Sep 14, 2006 — Aug 12, 2025
Isabella (Bella) Edith Barba passed away on August 12th in Salt Lake City, Utah, after a fierce battle recovering from surgery. She passed peacefully with her mother, Trisha Barba; grandmother, Shonnie Coleman (BZ); and aunt, Dari Wright, by her side.
Bella was born to Trisha Barba and Juan Barba on September 14th, 2006, in Santa Clara, CA. She was a much-loved (so much, so much) only child. She grew up in Boise, ID, surrounded by lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. She was also surrounded by family in California and enjoyed spending time with them. From a young age, Bella was full of happiness from coloring herself and her kitty, hanging out with cousins at the cabin, or enjoying her grandmother's special star soup. She had a big smile to share with everyone.
It is with pride that her family watched her graduate from Eagle Academy High School in the spring of 2025. While focusing on school, she also had a part-time job, hung out with friends in person or online, and, of course, took the occasional nap.
She loved drawing, everything anime (especially Pokémon), putting together beautiful Lego projects, snuggling with her mom, and spending time with family and friends. Her love for ramen noodles was evident, as it was a standing request when she visited BZ's home. She spent her childhood summers at Lake Cascade fishing, tubing, making smores, and playing with cousins. Her trips to California to see her father's family were full of love, adventures, and new traditions.
She is survived by her mother, Trisha Barba, and father, Juan Barba, as well as tons of family and friends who love her and will miss her greatly. Please consider using this space as a place to share memories and photos of Bella as we all grieve her loss together. Rest in Peace. We all love you, Bella.
Services will be held on August 30th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Cultural Hall at 2299 N. Five Mile Road, Boise, ID. The public viewing will start at 11:00 am. The Time of Remembrance service will begin at 12:00.
The family will be purchasing a memorial bench for Bella at a local cemetery. To those wishing to contribute, contributions can be sent to Trisha through Venmo (@Trisha-Barba-1) or directly made to Trisha.
