Isabelle "Laneve" (Jolley) Rogers of Boise passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 in Nampa, Idaho surrounded by her family. Laneve was born on March 16, 1937 in Rexburg, Idaho to Joseph Ross Jolley & Eva Sophia Mortensen. She was the youngest of 5 children. Her early schooling was in Rexburg, Idaho. She attended Madison High School and Boise High School where she graduated. She was married to Carl Sherman McQueen on Feb 5, 1955 in Winnemucca, NV. Together she and Carl had 3 children: Jefffrey Carl, Kelly Lyle, and Tina Laneve. Carl died of cancer in 1964 and 3 years later she remarried. On Feb 3, 1967 Laneve married Roy Wesley Rogers of Boise, Idaho. When they married, Roy had 2 children from a previous marriage Alan Hal, and Carol Ann. Together Laneve and Roy had two more children, Roy Hosea and Adam Wesley. Laneve was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life and served in many callings from young woman's presidency, primary, Relief society, and many others. She loved to sing in the Church choir and had a beautiful alto voice. She was a kind loving wife, mother, and friend. Everyone who ever met her immediately loved her. She is succeeded by: Carl Sherman McQueen, Roy Wesley Rogers, son Alan Rogers, daughter Carol Ann Rogers, her parents Joseph Ross Jolley, Eva Sophia Mortensen, brothers Ross and Reed Jolley, sisters Patty Rogers and Faye Carroll, and grandson Joshua Rogers and many other relatives. She is survived by: son-in-law Mark Anderson (Carol's husband), Jeff (Myrna) Rogers, Kelly (Terry) Rogers, Tina Rogers Tanner, Roy (Becky) Rogers, and Adam (Lorina) Rogers. She is also survived by 54 grand and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM with a viewing from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse located at 3305 W.
