May 22, 1979 — Sep 13, 2025
Heath Hiett Ashby May 22, 1979 – September 13, 2025 Nampa, Idaho
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Heath Hiett Ashby, who left this world on September 13, 2025, at the age of 46, from an ATV accident. Heath was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Gail (Butch) and Kathleen (Watkins) Ashby. Heath was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
Heath married the love of his life, Brenda Hendrix, on September 24, 2005. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two wonderful sons, Tyler (Lizzie) and Hunter, who were his greatest pride and joy.
Heath lived every day to the fullest. A lifelong sports fan, he cheered passionately for BYU and the Utah Jazz. He had a deep love for history and was thrilled to fulfill a dream of visiting Washington, D.C., earlier this year with his wife. Heath embraced life with the motto: "I'm not here for a long time, but I'm here for a good time." "Live life to the fullest."
He had a spirit for adventure and fun—whether it was camping, shooting, playing pool, building big fires, or just spending time with his family and friends. Heath had a sharp wit, a quick smile, and an uncanny ability to quote movies at just the right moment. He made everyone feel welcome; his humor and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was willing to help anyone in need and was always the fun uncle!
Professionally, Heath found true purpose and joy in his work with Rema Tip Top. He was proud of the products he represented, but even more so of the relationships he built with his co-workers, who became like a second family. Heath treasured the laughter, friendships, and sense of belonging he found there.
Heath is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Ashby; sons Tyler (Lizzie) and Hunter; his mother, Kathy; and his brothers, Travis (Natalie), Troy (Laura), and Brandon (Rochelle) Ashby. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law Ken (Tami) and Phil Hendrix and sisters-in-law Wendy (Chuck) Graf and Kathy (Tom) Wyly. Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Heath was preceded in death by his father, Butch Ashby.
A celebration of Heath's life will be held on: Thursday, September 18th at 2:00 PM Zeyer Funeral Chapel 83 N Midland Blvd Nampa, ID 83651
Heath brought joy, laughter, and love into every room he entered. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered
