George Arnold Moniz, Sr. 72, of Nampa went to meet his new found Savior on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. He was born February 22, 1942 in Hilo, Hawaii. Married Victoria K. Drew in Kaneohe, Hawaii on March 30, 1963. They moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1981, to Hanna Wyoming in 1986 and then to Idaho where they worked until they retired. He mostly worked as a Supervisor of Maintance in Hanna, WY and later of Head Start in Boise. He was the father of four children: Laurie (Gilbert) Sirio of Loveland, CO, Kathleene (Greg) Krueger of Merrill, WI, George Jr. (Cally) of Loveland CO and Charles of Nampa. He had 12 grandchildren: Joshua, Cynthia, Brandon, Jeremiah, Miranda, Victoria, Megan, Desiree, Matthew, Shaliah, Savannah and Johnathan. He also had 10 great-grandchildren. George was an avid fisherman in Idaho and while in Wyoming he hunted and fished. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his children and their families; one sister and three brothers. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30 at the Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa. 467-7300.
