Gaylene Lue Parker Law Gaylene Lue Parker Law, 85, of Nampa, Idaho passed through the veil April 19, 2023, living her legacy of love, faith, and service to her last day on this Earth. Gaylene was born October 9, 1937, in Ogden, Utah, the second child of Everett O. Parker and Luella Cragun Parker. Gaylene was sealed to her parents and siblings in the Logan Utah Temple on November 26, 1952. Gaylene married Dale "J" Law on June 29, 1956, and was later sealed to him for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple on January 13, 1961. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gaylene loved the gospel and served in various church callings throughout her life. When Dale's health deteriorated, Gaylene was able to serve with him as a missionary from their home, indexing historical records for public access. Gaylene loved the outdoors and spent countless hours in her lifetime exploring the mountains, the beach, and everywhere in between with those she loved. Gaylene enjoyed playing games of all kinds and was known for her infectious laughter. Gaylene had a heart for service and sought to share with everyone she met the pure love of Jesus Christ which radiated from her. Her calendar was filled with plans to serve the Lord, volunteer in community organizations, and spend time with loved ones. Gaylene is survived by her 6 children: Casey (Kathy) Law of Nampa; Andy (Diana) Law of Nampa; Alane (Bart) McKnight of Nampa; Demorie (Eric) Morgan of Washougal, Washington; Jesse (Arline) Law of Nampa; and Alan (Danielle) Law of Wendell; sister Janice (Jack) Smith of Ogden, Utah; brother-in-law Bill Lewis of Boise; brothers Craig (Susan) Parker of St. George, Utah and Kelly Parker of Nampa; 21 grandchildren and the 18 partners she loved as her own; 36 great-grandchildren with #37 due in August, and 2 great-great-granddaughters. Gaylene was preceded in death by her husband, Dale "J" Law; her parents Everett O. Parker and Luella J. Parker; and her sister Maralyn Parker Lewis. Funeral services will be held at 10AM, Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 2212 E Amity Ave in Nampa. A viewing will be held from 6 to 7:30PM, Friday, April 28 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa and from 9 to 9:45AM at the Church prior to the services. Interment at the Meridian Cemetery immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Boise in honor of the loving care they showed her family.
