Gary Wayne Brown, 69, of Nampa passed away on December 11, 2024. He was born in Nampa, ID to Wayne and Betty Brown (Webb) on August 26, 1955. Gary graduated from Melba High School, where he was active in the FFA, attending National Conventions in Louisville, Kentucky. He was well known for his work ethic throughout all phases of his careers, whether working in the agricultural sector in the Treasure Valley, managing Brooke Water company in Parker, Arizona, or as a member of the Nampa Highway District road crew. Gary loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. He enjoyed fishing trips with loved ones, and was a skilled woodworker, creating furniture for family homes. As a young man, he worked in Washington State building log cabins. Gary is survived by his brother Bill Brown of Melba, his daughters Natalie Brown of Tucson, Kathryn Brown of Nampa, and Sarah Ekard of Nampa, and two granddaughters Cora Lynn Ekard and Libby Lou Ekard of Nampa, as well as a large extended family including many beloved cousins. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, with a viewing beginning at 10:00 am, Friday, December 20, 2024, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, located at 83 N Midland Nampa, ID.
