It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Espiridion Carlos Torres Jr. (Pete) on February 12, 2025, at the age of 50, after a courageous battle with cirrhosis of the liver. He was surrounded by family at a local hospital when he peacefully left this world. Pete was born on June 22, 1974, to Espiridion Torres and Magdalena Gomez. Pete grew up in Alamo, California, alongside his beloved siblings: sister, Grace Lopez of Caldwell; and brothers, Salvador Torres and Daniel Torres, both of Nampa. His childhood was full of joyful memories, from playing red light, green light, freeze tag and hide 'n' seek with his siblings to hiking around the ranch and helping his father feed the horses. He fondly remembered his father's famous carnitas and the rainy days when he and his siblings would play in the mud. Pete's infectious laughter and larger-than-life personality always lit up a room, and he made it his mission to bring joy and laughter to those around him. He leaves behind his cherished family, including nine children: Natalie Torres, Carlos Torres (25), Myia Torres (18), Anthony Torres (18), Naomi Daniels (15), Ernesto Torres (13), Fernando Torres (11), and Dezmon (5); five grandchildren; Jeremiah, Dominic, Messiah, Jo'el, and Ezekiel. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and husband who found so much joy in spending time with his wife, Felicia Torres, and their loved ones. In his professional life, Pete worked as a tire tech at Loyal Tires in Nampa, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. He took pride in his work, and his caring nature extended beyond his family, touching the lives of those he encountered. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 21,2025, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa, ID.
