Edward George Schessler Jr was born in Seattle, Washington on June 30, 1943, to his parents Leona Ethel Schessler and Edward George Schessler Sr. Edward lived in W Virginia for most of his youth with his parents. At age 18 Edward joined the Navy and served 4 years on various ships. Upon leaving the Navy he moved to California where he met his wife Shirley Ann Davidson and her two children Maryellen Baird and Michael Allan Baird. Edward became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints around the same time. Shirley and Edward married in October of 1980 and moved to Riverside, California where they had 2 children Jenny Lorrainne Schessler and Rachael Anne Schessler. Shirley and Edward moved to Nampa Idaho in 1986. Edward worked as a Journeyman Electrician at various out of town job sites until he retired in 2019. Edward was very handy around the house, always helping out with his daughters, son and wife Shirley. He always had a project to do and loved to stay busy. He was very resourceful in genealogy work for the church. On November 21st, 2023, Edward passed away at home after a long battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by his wife Shirley, his daughters Jenny, Rachael and Maryellen and his grandson Jacob Issac Baird. Edward will also be dearly missed by his dogs Lily and Misty.
