If you knew Doug, you knew he was never far from his camera, Boise State paraphernalia, and a grandchild or two. Douglas Hadley was born October 14th, 1938 in Wapello, Idaho to parents John Leroy Hadley and Alice Jennette Shirley Hadley. He was the fifth in the family, joining two brothers and two sisters. Later two more brothers and another sister completed the Hadleys. Doug was raised on a 640-acre dry farm on the Snake river until his senior year of high school when the family moved to Emmett, Idaho to be closer to family and better farm land. After graduation he joined the Marine Reserves with six months training in California, then came home to farm again. He served a mission for his church in the Great Lakes Area then came home in 1961 to farm again. Doug married the love of his life, Mary Lou Hubbard, in the Salt Lake Temple on September 26, 1961. Three children were soon born: Scott William, Jody Vance, and Amy Hadley. Doug worked for Triangle Dairies for almost 30 years delivering milk to homes in the city well before the sun rose. After retirement, he signed up to drive a school bus for the Meridian School District for 14 years entertaining the kids with his occasional Daffy Duck impression. As an avid outdoorsman and Boise State football fan, he enjoyed gardening, the great outdoors, bundling for football games, and taking many incredible wildlife photos (ducks, bears, and elk, etc). He and his surviving wife, Mary Lou Hadley, had many grand adventures traveling the northwest and Canada. They especially loved going to Yellowstone National Park each year. He entered many photos in the Western Idaho Fair and received many ribbons for his work. He was just as active in his church and had callings such as Sunday School President, Scout Master, and Sunday School teacher. Doug Hadley is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, his siblings Darrell, Arlin, Shirley, Lenet, Lee, Susan, his children Scott, Jody, and Amy, his grandchildren Shandra, Alisa, David, Garrett, Victoria, Tristin, Conner as well as his many great-grandkids Russel, Trevor, Steven, Lianna, Jennae, Kami, Haven.
