Dorothy Faye (Woolard) Breshears, 86, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on February 18, 2024. As a beloved mother, wife, and friend, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Dorothy was born on July 9, 1937, in Nampa, Idaho to Albert Lee Woolard and Blanche Leora Thurman. She graduated from Nampa High School, graduating in 1955. Dorothy married the love of her life Erny Breshears on August 5, 1955, in Nampa Idaho. Together they had five children: Mike, Lynn, Tina, Gail, and Lee.

She enjoyed being a full-time mom, wife, and grandmother. She worked for a brief time to support her son Mike, who was serving a mission in London. As a family we benefited from her talent for cooking and baking. Her homemade dishes were always the highlight of family dinners and holiday get-togethers. The family regularly enjoyed her famous fried chicken on Sunday's; a meal that rivaled Kentucky Fried Chicken, as well as various other dishes.

Dorothy cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, sharing stories, playing games, and watching their favorite TV shows. She loved reading books of many genres, solving crossword puzzles, and an occasional bingo game. She would often find an enjoyable book reading it from cover to cover in no time at all. In later years she found enjoyment with scratch lottery tickets and playing Bingo with her friends. . Dorothy is survived by her children: Phyllis Breshears, Lynn & Terri Breshears, Tina & Mike Schatz, Gail & Bob Carrasco, and Lee & Christine Breshears; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Erny and son Mike.

Rest in peace, Dorothy. You will be forever in our hearts with beloved memories.
