Dona Jeanette Remior Ong, 75, returned peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 18, 2016. She was born in Cascade, Idaho in 1940, to Kermitt Edward and Bernice Tyler Remior. She spent her very early years in in Homedale, Idaho, then Nampa, where she met and married the love of her life, Raymond B. Ong. They celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary this past January in Nampa. They were married in Nampa and they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on January 24, 1981. She and Ray have been active members of several different wards and stakes of the church even though they never moved from their address on 6th Street North in Nampa. Dona served two genealogy missions for the LDS church, as well. She and Ray have one son and three daughters: John and Cheri Ong of Nampa; Carie and Ron Nash of Melba; Angela and Walter Okamoto of Mesa, Idaho and Cassandra and John gates of Nampa. Dona and Ray have been blessed with 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Dona was preceded in death by her parents Bernice Tyler and Kermitt Remior; grandchildren: JD Battles, Jesse Ray Marks, Jared Daniel Okamoto. She is survived by her husband Ray; her three daughters and one son; and most of their progeny. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 15862 South Indiana Avenue in Caldwell.
