David Blair Weaver, age 68, passed away in Boise, Idaho on July 9, 2025 after a lengthy illness. David was born on October 19, 1956 in Sioux City, Iowa to Ralph B. and M. Roanne Weaver. He would later become big brother to sisters Mary, Ruth, and Elisabeth. David spent his childhood in Iowa, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Nebraska. After graduating from high school in 1974 he went on to receive his bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska, an MBA from the University of South Dakota, and a master's in accounting from the University of Kansas. David spent the majority of his working years in Kansas, the last 25 as Senior Financial Analyst with Thermo Fisher Scientific in Lenexa, KS. David was a lifelong golfer and rediscovered the joy of bicycling as an adult. He was an audiophile with an impressive collection of stereo equipment, LPs, and CDs. David is survived by his father, three sisters, brother-in-law, five nieces, and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses, RTs, and support staff of the Beacon unit at Cascadia of Boise for the outstanding care they provided for David during the past 13 months. No services are planned.
