" David Wayne "Dave" Marsh, age 65, from Nampa, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2024. Born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, on November 3, 1958, to parents Wayne V. Marsh and Marlene Marsh, Dave was the eldest and only son among three siblings.

Dave completed his high school education in Aberdeen before relocating to Idaho in 1982, making Nampa his permanent residence. In 1988, he married Karen Forth, becoming a loving stepfather to her son, Brandon Forth. The following year, they welcomed their daughter, Ashley Nicole.

Professionally, Dave initially pursued a career in the culinary arts, working as a cook at various local eateries before earning his certification through the BSU Culinary Arts Program in 1990. He was an active certified cook, contributing as the Junior Chef's Secretary for the Chef's Association of Idaho State Chefs & Culinarians Inc/ACF. Despite his accomplishments in the culinary world, Dave eventually found his calling in construction contracting, where he made a significant impact on the community with his work.

An avid member of the Gold Prospectors Association of Nampa, Dave cherished his time gold prospecting and exploring the great outdoors, a hobby that allowed him to connect deeply with nature."
