Dale Walter Evans, 87, of Nampa passed away Friday, May 19, 2023. He was born in Grygla, Minnesota on March 5, 1936, to Clifford Merle Evans and Helen Rose Veer Evans. Dale had three brothers and four sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother Eileen; daughter Wendy Lininger; his brother Wesley; and his sisters: Delores, Eileen, and Lucille. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Constance Evans; daughters Ann (Howard) Phelps, Teresa (Jason) Muller; son Earl (Caroline) Evans; brothers Gene Evans and Ron (Rogeen) Evans; and sister Carrie (Joe) Issaks; sister-in-law Betty Jo Evans. Dale and Connie have 12 grandchildren and too many great-grandchildren to count.

Dale grew up in North Dakota and Saskatchewan, Canada. He enjoyed motorcycles, cars, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and farming.

Dale proudly and honorably served four years in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Guam as a hydraulic specialist.

Dale married Constance Vail, March 28, 1959, in Boise, Idaho and started their family soon after. Dale worked at Guerdon Industries in the Boise area, and then Alan Nobel farms in Nampa, from 1964 to 1991. He later moved on to Campbell Tractors and worked there until retiring in 2006.

Dale was a proud member of the American Legion, and he devoted many hours volunteering there.

He enjoyed his small acreage - growing, cutting, and baling his hay crop, working on cars, collecting tools, and taking care of his property, yard, and home. Motorcycles were a special passion for Dale. Starting with his first Harley when he was 18 years old. He enjoyed many hours riding, including many great road trips with his brothers and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 31 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa with a viewing beginning at 10:30, prior to the services. Military Honors and burial will follow the services at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Road in Boise.
