Obituary

In Loving Memory of Colin Andrew Libby November 24, 1968–November 9, 2025 Colin Andrew Libby, 56, passed away surrounded by his family, who loved him endlessly. Born on November 24, 1968, to Reginald Backus Libby and E. Jane (Halladay) Libby, Colin grew up in Upper Bucks County, where his love for the outdoors and adventure began. ________________________________________ A Life of Love and Family In 1988, Colin moved west to Idaho, where he built a life full of love, adventure, and friendship. He married Tessa in 1990, and together they raised two children, Stefan and Alyson. Family was central to Colin's life, and he cherished his role as "Pop Pop" to his five granddaughters. ________________________________________ A Dedicated Career and Strong Character Colin worked for 40 years as a commercial plumber and pipe fitter. He was known for his hard work, skill, and pride in everything he did. He believed in doing things right, standing by his word, and helping anyone who needed a hand. Those who knew him will remember his friendly nature and happy-go-lucky personality—but also the strong streak of pride that made him who he was. You always knew where you stood with Colin. ________________________________________ Passion for the Outdoors Outside of work, Colin found peace and happiness in the outdoors. He loved camping, hiking, fishing, and dirt biking. In 2023, after receiving a life-changing diagnosis, Colin took control of his health with incredible determination. Putting his love for food aside, he embraced a therapeutic keto diet, joined a gym, and pushed himself to new limits—hiking miles, training hard, and even competing in Spartan races. His strength and willpower inspired everyone who knew him. ________________________________________ Family and Survivors Colin is survived by his loving wife, Tessa; his mother, E. Jane; his children, Stefan (Miriahla) and Alyson; five granddaughters; and his siblings, Reginald Jr., Kevin, Perry, Thomas, William, Candace, and Cheryl. He was preceded in death by his father, Reginald, and his sister, Elizabeth. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother—a man of strength, humor, loyalty, and heart. He lived life on his own terms, embracing family, laughter, and the great outdoors. He will be missed and never forgotten. ________________________________________ Memorial Service A graveside memorial service will be held on November 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Kuna Cemetery, 1321 W.
